[Zug] Any one interested in a photography event?

I've been thinking about planning a photography event in Zug old town focussing on architectural details but could move down to lake for sunsets. We could intersperse the photography and finish with a review in a nice coffee house / bar. A Saturday afternoon seems like a good time to me. I was aiming to keep it open to any type of camera user.

Anyone interested? If so I'll set a date, book good weather, and plan some interesting spots to visit.

Re: [Zug] Any one interested in another photography event?

I'll throw my hat in the ring as a yes - would be nice to get some shots of the Altstadt to send home and show the folks

Great idea. I know Mark organised something similar last year and it was a great success; why not make an event on the calendar and set a date? Then you'll see how many are interested via the RSVP feature

Hey.. might be fun walking around the old town looking (and sounding) like a tourist group.

I'd be intersted. I was a very good girl last year so Santa brought me a DSLR that I want to try out more.

Re: [Zug] Any one interested in a photography event?

Ok I've posted the event:

Saturday 1st March at 2pm on the steps of the main Post Office in Zug. I'm looking forward to this already and I shall be out looking for cool stuff to snap over the next month.

Does anyone have any good tips / locations they can share?

Re: [Zug] Any one interested in a photography event?

I did a walk round Altstadt with my folks when they were over a couple of weeks ago and it's just cool to wander around the little streets. There's a cool overhanging building iirc. We wandered up from the lake and then along to the right (out of Zug) and then back again along a different couple of streets.

If the weather is good, it's lovely.

Would that be the Zollhaus? I've been eyeing that up for a while now. I even thought of it as a meeting point but not as obvious as steps of postoffice.

Yeah, I think it is. Used in Zug publicity shots on websites and stuff I believe.
