I have to be in Martigny / Verbier early in the morning for a meeting during my Easter break (March 26th) so I thought I'd head over to Lausanne the day before and stay in a nice hotel for a bit of a treat. I've had such a rubbish time since tearing my ACL at the start of the ski season and want to do something nice for myself.

So does anyone have any recommendations for cool hotels in Lausanne and things to do which don't involve jumping up and down on my poor knee ?

I'll second that recommendation: It's a fascinating collection of utterly bizarre outsider art, and will leave you disturbed and inspired for days.
