Thanks for all the info here guys. I was only aware of the day-ticket special for 99 francs (first class) that the SBB has been running since the Summer. But 45 francs (first class) sounds even better .. and yes, I have a half-tax card which I keep buying every year instead of just bitting the bullet, saving money and buying the 3 yr membership... decisions... decisions....
