and I thought the GA in general was expensive, but paying for it monthly is rediculous!

If you have visitors coming to stay this Autumn, this may be of interest. I received these details by email from Switzerland Travel Centre today

Every year, on 1st August, Swiss people all over the world celebrate Swiss National Day with fireworks, bonfires and decorations using national symbols. This marks the alliance made in 1291 between the three cantons of Uri, Schwyz and Unterwalden, which paved the way for modern-day Switzerland.

To celebrate this special day, Swiss Travel System is launching an autumn special for 4 and 8 day Swiss Travel Passes.

Swiss Travel Pass, 4 days (consecutive)
1st class: Was 277, now 222
2nd class: Was 173, now 139

Swiss Travel Pass, 8 days (consecutive)
1st class: Was 400, now 320
2nd class: Was 250, now 200

Please note this offer is only valid for travel between 1 September and 31 December 2015.

The Swiss Travel Pass provides unlimited travel on the entire public network. Travel on railways, boats and most bus routes. This includes classic scenic routes, some mountain railways and local buses/trams in more than 40 cities. In addition you will receive a 50% discount on the majority of mountain rail and cableways plus free admission to more than 400 museums.

You are amongst the first to hear about this offer. Tickets are not yet available online and can only be booked over the phone. Phone lines open Monday 3 August at 9am. For priority booking, call 020 7420 4935.

Is there a Ticket for travel between two stattions by train after 7 pm. for
Chf. 235.00 per year?
