Booked 2 weekend flights no problem leaving on a Friday after work and returning on a Sunday evening, plus one of the long weekends. Many Sundays were blocked in grey but some were available when you clicked on them. This was really annoying The website was a total PITA and kept timing out and they now charge for credit card bookings so had to dig out all the post finance info.
Hmmm. I wasnt charged any CC fees and paid with a VISA.

I also am not seeing the 30 chf booking fees for international flights

I booked a flight to london city this upcoming weekend as well as two weekend flights in june. One of the cities that I booked to never has flights for less than 300 chf so I was stoked

So they weren't only cheaper tickets, but also with no CC fees, impressive.

Is it just me or has Swiss become much more affordable to fly? They've had some very strong offers during the beginning of the year. Previously I had flown just about every airline but Swiss on account of price....now I see I have 5 reservations with them this year for leisure flying.

your thoughts?

Well to some extent yes, but isn't surprising no? with cheaper fuel prices, if they dont make offers/lower prices now, then when!

It is a good time for any airline to lure in some customers and maybe becoming permanent customers after trying the service. My two cents

thats true...i forgot about the fuel prices. Still...many others are not reducing their prices to match the new prices.

Remember to take something to eat with you as the on board sandwiches are disgusting.

That is why some companies make profit, while others lose money.
