Only if he was truly wafted there from paradise.

Surely, looking on an official site would yield more accurate info. than asking a bunch of winking bankers.

Re: air control strike today and tomorrow

Seems we can track todays flights, but not tomorrow's - so by the time he has got up at the crack of dawn and driven the normal 1.15 + 30 mins for frontaliers extra... it would be a pain to have to just get back here...

Apologies about new thread- perhaps a mod could kindly merge, thanks.

Re: air control strike today and tomorrow

Flight from GVA to Luton might get cancelled. I guess it depends on the airline company to figure out if it makes sense (commercially/practically) to deviate the plane north via Germany-Belgium to UK. Since the strike has meanwhile been confirmed, I think best idea is to turn to the airline company for advise.

FYI, I understand all flights from Belgium to France/Spain/Portugal got cancelled already for 8/9 April.

I think the Op was talking about the Luton near London, not the one in Belgium. That one is spelled differently

That is what I said, no?

I just added the Belgium info piece as I picked it up in the newspapers this morning.

Re: air control strike today and tomorrow

My son landed in Paris yesterday from Edinburgh without a single minute delay!

I reckon the Scottish crew threatened Paris Air traffic controllers with force feeding them with Haggis if they did not let them through!
