Re: Stay in Amsterdam, Netherlands

It's about a quarter of a century since I was last there, so no recommendations - to be honest, the type of place I stayed would be most unsuitable for a family.
However, I would consider, looking in the vicinity of Vondelpark, on the edge of the main central area, as you have children.

Re: Stay in Amsterdam, Netherlands

Most of your posts are asking about places to stay in the rest of Europe, no offence but this English Forum Switzerland , There are tons of sites like trip advisor, airbnb, lonely planet, to help you get a good recommendation of what to do and see in Europe, the thing is the list is extensive there are thousands of Hotels and historic sites and museums, all it takes is a bit of research from yourself to find these things out!

Re: Stay in Amsterdam, Netherlands

Hi Tobias M,

What you are saying may be right from your point of view.I think if I am putting my posts regarding enquiry about stay in hotels. It is mainly I want to read peoples experiences. I am actually travelling to these places also. What is the harm in it asking for help.

If you are the maintaining this site then please tell me the type of posts I should post.In that case, I think that shows that I have no freedom of expression. I have not asked anyone to rate my post.

Re: Stay in Amsterdam, Netherlands

was at Holiday Inn Express Arena towers 2 weeks ago, close to the Biljmer Arena which is a main train station with 15 min direct line to the airport and to the main city. Rates are at par with the smaller ones near the city center. The neighborhood is a quiet business district. Kids will appreciate the cleaner air at night . My problem was there was none of those coffeshops close by.
