Shopping Waldshut

If you go to Waldhsut with the car from Baden, after your shopping in Kaufland, can you get your bills stamped at the custom?

I have seen sometimes people going to the custom office in Waldshut main station but that it if you travel by train, am I correct?

How is the process of getting your bills stamped if you travel by car?

Thank you in advance for your answers.

Re: Shopping Waldshut

stop on the German side, take your stuff and receipts and permit, walk in, get the stamp, walk out. Then get your refund from whichever agent handles the refund - often a local garage like Picadilly.

Re: Shopping Waldshut

You mean taking all the things out from your car and walk to get the stamp?

This is really not practical and not feasible. There is no other way to get the things stamped from the custom if you are with the car?

I have only once had to show stuff to the officer on duty to get the stamp, and I would say that I cross the border 2-3 times a week. Just go into the office with your slips and that should be fine.

Re: Shopping Waldshut

Hi,e

Do any of you know if there are any healthy food shops in Waldshut? I'm looking for gluten and dairy- free products and they usually have a good selection. Otherwise it's not worth the trip for me.
