Lateinium Museum St Blaise Neuchâtel

So exciting to watch the second episode of the BBC series on the history of the Celts, with Neil Oliver- and see him visit the Lateinium with its charismatic and fascinating curator, Marc-Antoine Kaeser. Near La Tène on Neuchâtel shore- site of one of the many lake dwelling settlements in Europe- that gave its name to that part of Celtic history.

It is a fabulous Museum, in a very beautiful modern building right by the shore- if you haven't been yet- it is not to be missed.

The second part of the programme is about the last fight against Gaul and Vercingetorix in Burgundy, at Bibracte.

Episode 3 is about the Celts in Britannia- and the last stand by the amazing Boudica, not to be missed either.

Re: Lateinium Museum St Blaise Neuchâtel

The museum ( which is spelt Laténium btw) is well worth a visit as it is really interesting. Entrance is free on the first Sunday of every month.
