Go through Luxembourg and Belgium it's only a bit longer. Or go through Germany. It's an hour longer but you can drive faster.

I've yet to have a car that won't make Luxembourg on a tank of fuel - so go that route would be my suggestion.

I can never get the Germany route to work based on time (and fuel consumption). The Autobahn is never as fast as it could be when you take traffic etc in to consideration

We have just driven to our house in Burgundy and all the motorway services appeared to have fuel, ie, none of the prices were blacked out and cars and trucks were at the pumps. Just filled up in our local town no problem.

I used to always stop in Luxembourg when I would drive from Lugano to Brussels. The petrol was less expensive there. And yes, the Germany option is not fantastic. It's much longer and can be heavily trafficated at certain points.

But there are options! Everyone loves options.

You dont even have to go through germany and the distance is much tje same as the other way.

Go by Strasssbpurg and cut up to luxembourg and brussell that way
