Suggestions Wanted for Rhine Falls

I am planning a trip to the Rhine Falls. Is there anything else to see other than the water falls?

Has anyone been there, if so what was your experience like?

Go swimming! You can take a little boat up to the Rhinefall, and then jump in the water and float down the river for 10-15 minutes. Then hop out and do it all over again!

The town Stein am Rhein has a well preserved old part of town. Schaffhausen isn't far away either, has also an old part of town and the castle Munot. There are a few other castles near the Rhine Falls but I haven't been there.

Make sure that you're in a place that's safe to swim. The falls themselves are quite dangerous.
