Shops open on 26 & 27December in Zurich?

Hello,
We are planning our first trip to Zurich on December 26 and 27th, Friday and Saturday.
Will the shops be open on these days?

They will be open on the 27th but you won't find much open on the 26th.

Public holidays around Christmas in Zurich. Stores are open on the 24th till about 17.00 - 18.00, definately closed on 25th/26th, open as usual on 27th

Does anyone know what the situation is for France/Germany? I was in Paris one Xmas, and from what I remember most of the stores were open.

On Saturday, 27 December it looks like shops will be open late until 20:00 rather than 18:00.
