Hi everyone, Does anyone know if the shops in Basel are open this Friday 1st of May? We fancy a day out but only want to make the effort if the shops are open. Thanks in advance

Hi,

it is a public holiday so they will all be closed. The only ones which you will find open are the ones that are normally open on a Sunday, in and around the railway station.

I believe that the shops will be open in canton Aargau as it is not a holiday in that canton.
