Hi guys,

End of August we're planning a weekend with 10 friends.
We're looking to rent a cheap chalet, nothing special, so we can hang out there, bbq and have a beer in the evening.
During the day we want to go biking, hiking or relax at a lake or thermal spring or so.
Basically everything in the French/German speaking side of the gotthard would be fine.

Any suggestions of where to go and more important where to find a list of available chalets?

Some friends of ours have a chalet up here on Flumserberg that they rent out, not entirely sure it'll be big enough but I'll check for you if the area is ok for you. Great hiking and bike trails, Bad Ragaz thermal baths about 15 mins drive away.

A farmer neighbour also has a house split into holiday apartments, it's more basic but pretty cheap and in total will take 15 - 20 people I think.

Grumpy, I would be interested indeed. btw, turns out we will only be 8 people, with a slight possibility of 10, but we don't really count on that.
