My Grandparents are over from Australia and we are going to drive to the French part (Vaud) this weekend, can anyone please recommend come accomodation (a little b&b would be perfect), which is not too expensive. I am not having much luck with my google searches....

If you are anywhere near Lutry, try Cafe de la Poste - it's very good.

Try Le Deck in Chexbres (www.barontavernier.ch). It is about 10 minutes from Lausanne along the autoroute in the direction of Montreux. A reservation is essential and ask for a table by the window and you'll have one of the best views of Lac Leman and Les Dents du Midi imaginable. It will cost you CHF 75 per person plus wine but for that you'll have a good meal and an evening to remember.
