Does anyone remember when you could do these flights, and where did you go?
I mentioned them the other day and nobody knew what I was talking about
For those who haven't heard of them, you used to be able to turn up at Cointrin with your passport and for a nominal fee go to another European Country for the day - the thing was - you did not know where you were going till the last minute..........

Did they at least give you a flight back home at the end of the day?

I remember them very well! I went where the pilots went to ;-), I then was a Swissair air steward, working on the entire network. Those were the times...! We used to spend a whole week in Bejing, in Nairobi or five days in Boston as there were only one or two flights a week to these destinations. Nice and sweet souvenirs...
