[Day Trip] to St. Moritz

Hi,

I am planning to go for a day to St. Moritz. Am looking for ideas on what to do there. I had planned on a hike but if there is any other thing that would be interesting, it would be good to know.

Or anywhere in Graubunden would also be good, that said I have already been to Davos.

Thanks in advance.

As a town, I don't think that St. Moritz has much to offer unless you are really wealthy and love designer fashion shops.

The walk around the lake is nice. It is not a huge lake and it is an easy walk right round. There are the obvious mountain hikes etc.

The best part of St. Moritz for me was the train leaving there. The Bernina Express is fantastic.

If zou are not afraid of heights, you can do the walk from Thusis to the Via Mala gorge. It will take you over a 25 meter long hanging bridge, (Via Traversina) and the trip is ca. 10 km.

I have not done the whole trip, but the view was amazing in the via mala gorge.

Doc.
