Hey all,
I've been liviing in Bern for the past few months now. And for the coming weekend I've got a rather special some one who's coming over from the UK. The idea is to spend some the weekend in some place that has snow, is a bit isolated and has as few people as possible. (We are from 35°C Mumbai, so the snow requirement is a must)
I've narrowed down (after a lot of googling) on Bernina Ospizio as per a friend's suggestion, who had been there last week - at 2000+ metres its high enough, has a decent snow cover (we are no skii-ers , would just want to hike a bit if possible) and seems out of the way of most things.
Any suggestions regarding this would be appreciated - what to do, any specific hiking route, any recommended places to stay (think student budget for a pvt room). Im dreading that most places nearby would already be full. Any other tips are welcome.
Thanks a tonne, and have a great day ahead.
