| I'm interested in seeing Indomeneo at the Opera House next February, but was wondering if anyone knew of a way to get cheaper tickets? 38 CHF is OK, but the seats look terrible. I am a student, but over 25 (if that makes any difference!)
Thanks! | |

If you hang around the box office from about 30-60 minutes before the performance, there'll usually be someone selling an unwanted ticket and you could try haggling.
I think there are some bad seats, right at the top near the front you won't get much of a view but you can always change at the break and I'm sure Idomeneo on a wet February weeknight won't be sold out.
If you're in the lower boxes, you'll only get to see part of the stage but you'll be able to see most of the action and it's great from up close.
Have fun
