Hello all,

I once heard that if you don't fancy skiing then its good to head for Ticino for a winter holiday since many of the hotels have good offers. Does anyone have any experience of this or have any recommendation for a family holiday location in February?

We have a 5 year old boy and a 12 month baby daughter, and at that time, a visiting father-in-law. We are looking for a family friendly spa hotel with activities for kids, but haven't found one yet

On the Lugano tourism site you can search accomodation and specify ¨Suitable for families¨ in the field Caracteristics I think it will give you a few more options.

Try this: http://www.serpiano.ch/. It's in a pretty area, has wellness facilities, the restaurant is meant to be very good and I've seen some EFs positively commenting on it in the past. It re-opens on 5th Feb. so hope the timing's good.

Hi, Check Villa Sassa they have apartments and hotel and Spa and a creche and lake view and not far from town center.

Second this. I'm thinking of going here this weekend. I really liked it last year.
