| Livigno - Fantastic skiing
Just came back from Livigno and would like to share my experience with you.
The drive: 2hr 45 min. from Zürich (go on your way to Davos, through Vereina tunnel, through Zernez and Switzerland's national park and you'll drive right to the tunnel taking you through to Livigno, Italy's duty free enclave.
I have never been on such sensational pistes. Beautifully groomed and ideal slopes for intermediate + skiers. Lines were short, skiers from all over Europe and prices were 25% less than Switzerland.
The Vereina Tunnel and Livigno toll tunnel cost us SFr. 115 but we made up the savings with our hotel, restaurants and ski passes.
My irish coffees were Euro 2.50 in every piste restaurant.
Livigno: Highly recommended!
