Stay put in the Alps and enjoy the long days to go hiking and trekking along all the peaks and trails that I haven't yet discovered.

My suggestion ... Maldives!
Happy to PM you with a great recommendarion if you like (surprisingly inexpensive but fantastic resort).
Actually I just realised your pic can't possibly be the Maldives -- the highest point of the Maldives is 2m above sea level.

Doing a 15 day road trip on the coast of california. Beginning in San Fran but then going inland to see some of the canyons before ending up in San Diego and driving up along the coast to San Fran again.
Can't wait
Ps last year I was in New Zealand and would recommend that in a heartbeat to anyone. amazing country and you can do so much in two weeks (16days)

However it actually wasn't expensive for us -- there is no need to take anything more than the "lowest" grade villa (which is still exceptional), and the resort frequently offers deals like 7 nights for the price of 4. Then when you factor in meals (included in the price) and lack of opportunity to drop all your cash on tacky souvenirs (there's only one tiny shop on the island) and travel at your destination (all travel is by bicycle -- again, included), this turns out to be great value. Of course, getting there may be an issue ... frequent flyer points help a lot!
ETA: Looks like meals aren't included any more -- only breakfast . Oh well.
So, this summer I'm holidaying in Basel. Fabulous weather there.

Riding around Alps/Dolomites in motorcycle.
Hopefully convincing wife to join me on doing a two week backpacking trip like the Alpine Pass route or the Chamonix to Zermatt Haute Route
