Ski Resorts for a non Skier

Hi

I am planning a ski week with some few friends in March however a member of the tribe does not ski. She still wants to come but I need to find a resort where she will not be completed bored out of her head.

I would appreciated any suggestions.

I have heard Verbier or Saas Fee could be good. Would be great to get some EFers opinons.

Thanks

Personally, I would say Verbier or Zermatt. There is not a lot happening
in Saas Fee other than skiing, IMHO.

I like Anzere. She can have tobogganing instead.

Re: Ski Resorts for a non Skier

Arosa is good - lots of walks up in the hills that are marked off for walking alone (i.e. no dodging skiers). Although in March, don't know how good the skiing will be - it is in a South-facing bowl, as I recall, and snow can be slushy.

Betmeralp/Reideralp also has several non-ski activities.

Rather than Saas-Fee consider Zermatt.

Flims-Laax also has stuff, but you need to make sure you are in one of the larger villages that makes up the resort.

Further South, in France, Chamonix has excellent skiing for advanced skiers, but has the advantage of being a large village/small town so more non-ski activities.
