I am planning to visit Como. Could anyone comment on shopping in Como? Are things much cheaper than in Switzerland? I am after leather boots.

Would you recommend any other places nearby Switzerland for shopping day trips?

If you go to the market things are a lot cheaper than here the shops not theyre nearly more expensive than here.
Konstanz is really good for shopping

I went to Como a few years ago during this time and many of the shops were closed..or that may have been Bellagio. Things are definitely not cheaper though.
