They are in competition with Swiss and Easyjet, and I think for the Bernese they are offering an excellent service.

Please spread the word, if we don't use it we'll loose it, like all the others that have gone before. At least this one has a decent price.

The Bern airport bus departs from the Post Bus station, upstairs above the railway station, near the car parks.

Even better news is that the same airline starts services from Bern to Berlin, Barcelona, Hamburg and Rotterdam from January.

I hope it works out, but buy travel insurance.

I'll be definitely using this next year. I fly to City every few weeks and leaving from Belp will be like all my Christmases come at once.

This route and airline doesn't come up when using the normal search engines...

Nope not yet. I fly intermittently so the dates and times I need to be in London are not know until a few days before.

Only problem with Skywork for me are the flight times, they are dusk/night flights and that doesn't always suit my schedule.... still I'll try them a few times.

I'd advise trying this airline, not sure where they go and when, but they're EXTREMELY FUNNY

This is decent airline in my experience.

They've cut corners on their pretty shoddy online booking system, but as a passenger you're treated very well.

Thanks Ittigen - that could be really useful for our next trip or for our children visiting. How easy is it to get to airport from Bern rail station? Or do you have good advice for safe and not too expensive parking in the area.

There's a direct bus.

Its a properly lovely airport too.....it makes a nice change from the huge airports of the world. Park in front of the terminal, 20 minutes check in time (still, I think?), walk to the plane in view of the mountains....great place!

There's also another bus connecting it with Münsigen Bhf - Rubingen - Belp too.

Basically they've now gone all Ryanair service but charge premium swiss prices.

15KG max luggage, no rebooking or child reduction unless you pay a high premium rate to begin with.

As it was I think they're having problems selling tickets. The London flights I've taken in the past few months were flying at under 20% capacity.

I can't forsee them surviving too long with a business plan like this.
