I'm not checking my voice mail, so I don't want people to waster money when they're calling me and I can't pick up. Is there an SMS I could send to disable voicemail completely?

This might work:

Sunrise:
# 145 # send ==> mailbox off

Some Lebara customers outside CH do it with 1210, unsure of Lebara CH.

#145# doesnt do it - message is "Welcome to USSD platform"...

You have an account and you can configurate many things: language, mailbox, etc...... you get one sms with password for the first log in...

Probably the reason it works now, but didn't 18mths ago, for the OP, is because the N.o.t.W. is now defunct.

very simple, do it online on lebara.ch in 1 min.

steps :-

pls long in to your www.lebara.ch account [NOTE : first time user might need to setup online account, a free service for every Lebara user]
> click "MyLebara" (on top side of page)
> click "Profile & Settings" (on top side of page, below MyLebara icon)
> click "Your service settings" (on left hand side of page)
> trun "Voicemail" to off (with your mouse/cursor)
> click "save settings"
> check/re-confirm if "Voicemail" is showing off now ?
exit/sign-off
