A little more info as to what the problem is might help. Red rings? How old is the box etc

Go to your nearest Interdiscount shop and ask them for a PS3.

That will solve your problem.

Well I have a problem with last available dashboard 13599... I bought console which was flashed... the orginal dvd drive was replaced by the new one.
Right now when I bought FIFA 12 I was asked to update dashboard to 13599 (my last games was fifa 11 :P )
well and here comes the issue;/ I can not update dashboard because new one treats my dvd drive as an alien... (this is the new microsoft trick)
what is sad I don't know what was the orginal type of the drive...
So I need to check drive by drive... and the best place to do that is a service (they have them). I don't want to buy all the dvd types :]

so do you know any place in Zurich where I can ask for help ?
