Hi, Guys, anybody know if the cablecom does provide BBC Channel in their package? because since I have subscribed the package I couldn't find the BBC channel here in Zurich, there is only CNN available, anybody knows about this?

Why don't you phone Cablecom and get the info from the source?

I get a 3-4 BBC channels (and ITV 1 and ITV 2) with my Cablecom. But for the last couple of days, one of the BBC channels is not coming (I think it's BBC 2 - not sure though). But the rest of them work fine.

We've got BBC 1 and 2 plus BBC Prime on ours (plus 2 ITV channels and Film 4). I think they are supposed to be on the basic package (could be wrong - hubby looks after all that stuff) but for info I find them as follows:

Channel
94 BBC World
95 BBC Prime
96 BBC1
97 BBC2
98 ITV1
99 ITV2
100 Film4

Word of warning, though, sometimes Cablecom shuffles all the channels around without letting you know so you flick on the TV to watch Eastenders and you end up with Serbian TV's best evening's offerings until you manage to track the Beeb down again.

Yes. Right in the centre.

It sounds very much like you have the analogue package with Cablecom. You won't get the BBC channels unless you have the digital package which costs 6 francs a month. If you have this, then there will be a set-top box with numbers on the front. BBC1 is channel 155 on mine.

That's the one! Didn't they slash the price of it recently after some handbag fight with the authorities? Something along the lines of them charging too much?

Hm...that might be the case. then how can I do that subscription, on their website, they seem not to provide any phone number, only the online question form...
