Re: The Walking Dead

I dislike it.

My main problem is with the zombies themselves..... the show is populated by bad zombie extras mugging for the camara full of stereotypical and cliched poses and facial expressions.... as is always the case in every zombie movie / show i have ever watched.

I really liked the first season. I really liked the season 2 premier.

But good lord, I barely made it through the second episode. Haven't watched the third one yet. Dreading it.

Re: The Walking Dead

No matter how slow this season has been, I can't lie, the last 10 minutes of the last episode (s02e07) are probably in my Top 10 scenes of TV ever. I can't believe they went there. Harrowing stuff.

Re: The Walking Dead

Yeah I really love the show but the second season felt stunted a little until they got to this most recent episode before the break.

INTENSE!

Bur remember, they are doing twice as many episodes this season compared to season 1. More time to fill and less budget.

I get it, but it's really not an excuse. When you have shows like Sons of Anarchy and Breaking Bad that have breakneck pacing and manage to sustain it for an entire season, there's really no excuse for the arc we saw in the last 7 episodes of Walking Dead to have lasted that long. The filler could have at least been interesting and they could have avoided laugh-out-loud crappy dialogue like "He talked about the deer!"

Still, after those last 10 minutes, all was forgiven.
