Uber cheap phones...

So, having left my previous job, I needed a phone, and as luck would have it, they are selling 5 CHF old skool Nokia phones at Media Markt.

Well, I could hardly believe it. I do wonder though if I've embraced middle age a bit too heartily, not only caring not a jot that my phone looks rubbish, but on the contrary, am proud of its basic functionality vs. cost.

It clicks SO LOUDLY as well when you press the buttons.

My mate, with Captain Fantastic iPhone, is having to plug in earphones to take calls as "it's a bit shit at working like a phone".

Plus, it came with credit which again, I can barely believe. I think I might actually be in profit before I've even used the thing.

Agreed, I still use an ancient Nokia 6310i as an alarm clock - it's functionality in that respect is unsurpassed.
