not sure if this has been posted before but I thought I'd share anyway. Found an iphone app called filmon that streams live UK TV channels over wifi and works outside of the UK. No adds or subscription required. Link to apples appstore below

For those days when you need a little taste of the UK.

There have been quite a few of these services which come and go once the licencing authorities have caught up with them. I guess this has a more robust legal foundation??

just as FYI... "tunein" will stream stations from anywhere, not just UK ( I've had it on my phone for 'prolly about a year now.

Have been using filmon since we arrived in August. It really works well, you can also download the HD version for your lap top. Let's see how long it lasts!

The teleboyTV app does a good job too...
