I just got Cablecoms "Comfort" TV package, which includes ESPN America and ESPN America HD. I have been watching hockey games mainly the last week or 2, and noticed that while the ESPN America (standard def) channel is fine, the ESPN America HD channel is showing pixelation every few minutes. It's not horrible, but noticeable, and starting to annoy me.

Does everyone who has ESPN America HD on Cablecom experience this in the last week or so? Or is it my TV/receiver that has a problem?

I think other HD channels are ok, but I'm not sure (I don't watch them enough to be sure). Anyway, hockey games have a high rate of motion, so I guess would be more susceptible to pixelation.

You sure the source program is HD or are they simply transmitting some standard def onto the HD channel? That would look pretty bad.

Just to follow up: the ESPN HD channel is looking better now. I guess it just happened that Cablecoms re-transmission of this channel (or the original satellite transmission) had problems around that time, since it looks to have cleared up and is now working fine
