computer troubleshooting assistance

hi all,

built a system the other day and having a wierd issue, maybe someone here with more computer knowledge can assist?

I have:
SDD
2TB HDD
150Gb HDD
blu-ray writed/dvd drive

In the bios i can see the SDD, 2TB and BR/dvd but NOT the 150gb HDD

In my computer i can see the SDD, 150gb HDD and the BR/dvdrom but not the 2TB.

all are conected with sata cables and the MB is currently set to AHCI mode.

any ideas?

the MB is an Asus P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Int...8Z68V_PROGEN3/

coldnt see anything mentioned in the MB manual.

Any ideas?

I'm guessing you're running some version of Windows? Which version?

Start the Windows Disk Management utility and see if your disk is visible. If it is, maybe the partition isn't mounted. Try mounting/attaching it. If it isn't available to attach/mount, maybe the disk isn't formatted?

These are all just guesses - a bit more information would be useful.

sorry, yes its windows 7 enterprise with all available updates/service pack etc.

ill check what you have suggested and report back.

EDIT:

Appears to be a combination of different controllers on the different sata connectors and windows not liking he drive, eventually got it to be shown and recognised after loading the drivers about 5 times and restarting the computer a few times also, then windows decided the drive can only be dynamic, eventually got it to the normal basic status.
