| | | french Free makes Switzerland even more expensive
The new french mobile network Free has just launched an unbinding contract, unlimited calls, texts and data up to 3Go for €20/month...
The same here would be minimum CHF 100. WHEN IS IT GOING TO CHANGE!!!

no mobile network is going to give you anything from free, I assume this is a virtual network? and at the moment they are just trying to get customers, so I wouldn't expect this deal to be around for that long.
What they give you with one hand they take with the other, what are roaming costs like? whats the network coverage like? its no use having 'free' data if the max bandwidth is 56k etc etc

Free are not new, they are actually a famous ISP, fighting against orange, sfr, etc... and having many customers...
They also have a national coverage and try to avoid the abuses of the main SFR, etc...
Well, thats what I read.

They were profitable here. They just decided to sell Orange CH to generate cashflow to invest in emerging markets in Africa (a lot more money to be made there than in saturated european markets where market shares vary sigtly year on year).
