Swisscom Digital TV - sound problems

Usually this works well and we get all the usual UK channels. Over the weekend we lost sound quality on Sky News channel. All other channels are ok.
Anyone else got this problem?

Sky news was weird all weekend, but I tried it earlier and it seems fine now.

Re: Swisscom Digital TV - sound problems

Ive had this problem too swisscom will look at the box for you and almost always fix it. My issue was when watching something live when at the same time one of my recordings starts, then the sounds either goes off or degrades. A quick flip up one channel and back again and the sound is back to normal. Else call swisscom

We've had the same sound problem for a years or so, though it only usually happens on Cbeebies and doesn't seem linked to recording. It's a pain, but, as you mention, easily remedied by simple changing up a channel and back.

Re: Swisscom Digital TV - sound problems

We have Swisscom in our main house and our mountain apartment and both have the sound problem. I find it more of a nuisance when watching something I have recorded, when I have to turn the recording off, go to live TV and then go back to the recording. As others have said, switching channels works otherwise.

We also used to be able to record 2 programmes and watch a film from the pay per view and now are only able to watch a film and record one programme at the same time.

Re: Swisscom Digital TV - sound problems

All i can say is there is not much you can do for this one as we are restricted access to the swisscom box. The only option is to call swissom and have them connect to your box ( after listening to their on hold music for a while )
