I am amazed of the monopoly here in Switzerland, no real competition, jus Swisscom and Cablecom.

I am about to put my satellite dish, so i dont have to pay anymore the TV subscriptions.

I have Cablecom and would like to replace it with something else so I dont have to pay Sitel as well.

Only Internet, I would pay

50 meg CABLECOM ===== 69 CHF/month + 20? CHF for Sitel
20 meg SWISSCOM ===== 99 CHF for Swisscom

are those 2 only in the market?
basically i dont save much not to use the internet, but i get more tv channels...
nobody can give me >20meg apart from Cablecom?
anybody in the internet is make a "class" action/protest against such luck of market concurrence??

I live is Suisse romandie.

Lausanne city has a cable network, it is offered by the electricity company. Many places forbid satellite dishes, ask your landlord.

Look to the east ..... you may see a Sunrise.

well... more or less the same prices....

I fully agree but if you were here 10 years aga you would probably have had even more of an issue over mobile phones. The customer service is still not a patch on the uk service.

I.e. you go out and buy a new iphone or whatever and 1week later you have to return it to the shop for whatever fault, in the uk you can phone up and the vey next day a new phone is through the letterbox along with a prepaid envelope to send the old one back. Here they ( the shop ) will send your phone away and lend you what ever brick they have under the counter until the 3 or so weeks pass while your phone is beying fixed.
