Atlantis has been cancelled, not that it's that good a series.

I love his last comment.

"So you have to keep creating space, you have to keep trying new things, otherwise you keep offering the audience the things they had before."

Of course the fact that the audience actually like the things they had before and want to keep them is just too bad.

Mind you, sounds like a very good reason to axe the awful Top Gear.
When your weekly global audience is approximately 5% of the worlds population the last thing you do is axe it

Why not? It didn't stop them axing the original Dr Who series. At the time you could go anywhere in the world and it would be on the telly, sometimes on 2 or 3 channels.

Unfortunately, looks like we're going to have to put up with their rubbish for another 3 years.

Re: good TV series recomendations..... ?

Have been watching these on NetFlix:
Continuum - S1 ok, S2
Ripper Street - S1 good, currently watching S2, not as good as S1
Hinterland - set in Wales, I quite like it
Z-Nation - not as good as Walking Dead, but it'll do
The Blacklist - S1 ok, waiting for S2
The Finder - had a crossover with Bones, so-so
Longmire - Modern cowboy sheriff, I liked it

Vicious season 2 starts on ITV - 1st of June 2 at 10o clock - I am a fan of Frances de la Tour and also of Iwan Rheon (who was just perfect in Misfits)

Re: good TV series recomendations..... ?

Orange is the new black entertained well through season 2 - with a rather amusing ending. There were plenty of "scenes containing nudity and adult themes" early on but they were cut back later in the serious.

I have House of Cards 3, Daredevil, Arrow and Hannibal queued up for viewing - as well as Fortitude.

Has anyone recommended Outlander yet? It's a film adaptation of the novels of Diana Gabaldon. Game of Thrones fans will love it, I'm sure!

Not come across it though it seems Amazon has been broadcasting it in the UK.

Speaking of Game of Thrones how many of you were "shocked" by the series finale. Seems many were though iirc much of the episode's storylines were in the book.

Who's your guess as who's going to finally end up wearing the crown? I think either Tyrion or Ayra could be the ones. They're certainly the most interesting characters I thought when I read the first few books before giving up on the whole thing.
