Is Constantine series on Netflix or Amazon prime, anyone know?

I'm a fan of the 2005 movie with Kenu Reeves and Rachael Weiz.
Peter Stormare is wonderful.. and by far the best Satan ever

It's on Prime. Very good but pretty gruesome in places. Not like the movie really but more in keeping with the graphic novel. He's back to being blonde for starters!

Halt and Catch Fire shows promise too. Also on Amazon.

If anybody missed the second series of Happy Valley, I seriously recommend it. Sarah Lancashire is brilliant throughout.

Not been a bed year so far with Happy Valley and Deutschland 83.

Doctor Thorne, with the brilliant Tom Hollander, is well worth a watch - on ITV.

I saw the drama North & South on Netflix recently, completely missed that one in the noughties.

Re: good TV series recomendations..... ?

As it's quiet coming up to Easter I knocked off early and treated myself to the first two episodes of Damien. The series is based on the kid from the Omen movies (my old school mate Harv),. Good production values, heavily borrowing from the original movies, so if you liked those you should like this.

Yay! A new series of "The Sheriffs Are Coming" is on BBC1 weekdays at 11am, repeated on BBC2 at 5.45am the next morning. Love watching these guys deal with bad debtors. 10 episodes to enjoy over the next two weeks.

Re: good TV series recomendations..... ?

Latest bunch of American shows:
Lucifer- started so well, with lines only an eloquent Brit could deliver. Series plot wobbled midway through as if they weren't sure of the final direction. 10 episodes in it is has been good but thin.

Blindspot- slightly formulaic but the series is unfolding nicely. Sullivan Stapleton looks the archetypal Australian and he drops his American accent far too frequently. However the show romps a long nicely with plenty of subplots, good episode plots and a nice set of characters. Not sure it will survive beyond a second season

Second Chance - 2 episodes in and this 21st century Frankenstein started well. "Sean Slater" (Eastenders 2006) takes the lead role and he seems at home in it. (Combined with Sullivan above that is 2 more heavily set lead characters rather than the current trend of waif like male leads). The car almost steals the show but the "old school" approach to detective work should be the highlight if it is well executed.

Longmire Season 4 - first 3 seasons were on A&E before it was cancelled - leaving fans in uproar and critics puzzled - its ratings were far higher than a show of its ilk should have pulled in. Picked up by Netflix season 4 tidies up the rather truncated messy ending of Season 3. Lead character (6'4" Australian actor) Walt is at his darkest, Vic remains clad in tight denim and Ferg carries on being the competent deputy. The changes in season 3 have set up a series plot nicely - and exceptional rating on IMDB suggest the rest of the series will be good. One benefit of moving to Netflix is that the previous short scenes have been padded out with longer mood shots which add considerably to the atmosphere. The scenery remains beautiful!

Yes we've been watching Blindspot and Longmire. Missed some episodes of Blindspot due to hols so hope to get back into it tonight.

Longmire gets shown on TCM and also 5USA also have it. Series 4 was shown on TCM back in November/December last year. 5USA is currently showing both series 3 and 4.

http://www.channel5.com/show/longmire

For some strange logic only known to the channel's organisers the 4th series is on in the wee small hours while series 3 is on at more reasonable times.

I think I still have all episodes of Blindspot - I tend to delete after watching. Let me know which ones you missed.

Bosch Season 2 is on a big download. I also have Billions and Limitless to watch.

Thanks dodgyken. Hopefully the DVR recorded them for us while we were away so should be able to catch up. It was a bit annoying having to miss them as the series had only just come back from its mid-season break just before we left.

+1 for Billions. Watched the end of season 1 last night. Epic.

Season 4 of Banshee is underway. Unfortunatley it is the last season, but still a very cool show.

cheers

For all you EastEnders fans keep an eye out next year for the 6-part spin-off Redwater.

Of course whether anyone will be able to understand what they're saying we'll have to wait and see.
