Is that a silly price? I thought they were 3 x the amount. Or is it a different version. Want to get one for Mrs B but im not up with the in crowd or the technology...

I got the very same 2 months ago for my Mrs at 379.- at Media Markt which than was superb price. This one is even better.
As the version, this is the Ipad 2 not the "new" Ipad but it is not very different than the new one and it has the minimum memory of 16 GB which for games and occasional movie is plenty.

Definitely a bargain. US Ebay folks are selling iPad 1s for around 275 USD, so 299 for a brand new iPad 2 is awesome. They won't let you buy 2 iPads on the same single order if you are buying online. Just do two orders. I suggest buying online and having them sent to the actual store. This will avoid "out of Stock" issues. I just bought 2 of them and sent them to my local store. I just go by tomorrow and pick them up.

I wonder if those are the new 2.4 models (32 nm processor, longer battery life).

A piece of advice for anyone planning on going to a store tomorrow to purchase one.
Go armed with your self-printed CHF130 Bon:
- on the link provided by the OP, click on image of iPad and you will see: 
click and print; and do it for both images (black and white) as the art. nos. are different, thus avoiding disappointment with in-store availability.
It may or may not be required, but I did use one to buy this Samsung laptop - without it I wouldn't have got the full discount.
Be prepared.

All Apple power supply products are compatible from 110v to 240v. You can pick up a cheap socket adapter for less than 5. All my iPad chargers are from the US, just adapt the plug.

The GF thought it was best to order online for delivery to Leitzipark, which she did, we go along today & yes they are instock  HOWEVER 'the computer says NO' as we ordered online so have to wait until ones arrive, possibly tomorrow.  |

1. I saw this last night (in bed), see how addicted I am to EF?
2. I ordered it online this morning 830am.
3. I called the store and reserved one
4. I went there, they said I cannot take the reserved piece, coz mine is coming in 3-5 days.
5. I went back to office.
6. I called hotline, and confirmed I can cancel my order without penalty
7. I went back to store, and bought the one I reserved (yes they really reserved one for me)
8. I went back to office and cancelled my order sendmail to bestellungen@interdiscount.ch
9. I gave the iPAD to my missus during dinner.....wow, I am not hanging around EF tonight....
