Is it me or today the internet connection from Cablecom doesn't work correctly?
I tried www.java.com and www.stackoverflow.com and both are slow if not working at all.
Apparently reddit.com works well.. this is NOT good

Report it? Maybe some roadworks has snagged a cable in your area? Working fine with me in Zurich...

I am having problems too (with my cablecom Internet connection) here on my last day in before moving out of Switzerland.

Am also hving problem today. Extreme!
It started I think 2-3 days ago.
Contacted cablecom they told me to check the spped.
When I told them the results they told me as well it was slow. Upload wasn't even able to establish the speed as it was too slow.

They suggested me to do 24hr speed check. But I guess it is useless as it's not actually only me hving problem.
I thought I contracted virus or some kind. So doing full scan at the moment.

What is the problem??? Or what's wrong with cablecom?

Cablecom sometimes gets shaky. i ahve the same problem. If it happens unplug your modems for twenty seconds and then plug them back in. Usually that solves the problem with me. but sometimes its due to repairwork etc.

Also, sometimes their DNS servers get a bit whacky -- you can connect normally to any site it you enter http://10.0.0.42, but not through http://www.example.net.

Problem solved (or worked around) by switching to Google DNS servers 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4 (or restarting router).
