Champions League on TV

Hi

I recently moved to Lausanne from Denmark, and now I am wondering if the normal package of TV-channels in Switzerland/Lausanne are showing the upcoming Champions League matches in football (soccer).

If so - which channel(s)?

If not - what do I do????

Best Regards

Casper

They do show CL here, but it's frustrating. For the whole group, every channel will be showing... Barcelona. zzZZZZzzzz

I assume you're an Arsenal supporter. You'll have to go to the pub.

PS. Search the forum for Champions League and television.

Jan Molby played for Liverpool. My bet is it's the mighty LFC he follows. They'll be on.

Re: Champions League on TV

Uuh, must be careful with supporting statements in here it seems

To sum up the Danish players in the remaining Premier league clubs in CL:

Arsenal: Niclas Bentner (previous: John "Faxe" Jensen)
Chelsea: None (previous: Jesper Grønkjær, Brian Laudrup, Jes Høgh)
Liverpool: Daniel Agger (previous: Jan Mølby)
Manchester U: None (previous: Peter Schmeichel, Jesper Olsen)

Unfortunately Daniel Agger is still injured otherwise I'm sure he would play all the matches for Liverpool. Bentner still has to fight (literally) for his place in front for Arsenal, but he migth get a few minutes a long the way.

My money (in terms of my bookmanker) is placed with Man U this year.

I guess this is the most diplomatic I can be...

Re: Champions League on TV

In Lausanne, on the standard cable package (plug into the wall and TV and do nothing else) you'll be able to see:

Tuesday: Liverpool vs Inter (SF2)
Wednesday: Lyon vs Manchester United (TF1) and Arsenal vs AC Milan (SF2 and ORF1)

Bookmark this site, it has never steered me wrong:

Re: Champions League on TV

Thanks DFH

That is very useful.

(and to Mikeybroomers; I do remember Allan Nielsen very well - especially for his good period for our national team. But after viewing your clip I must admit I forgot how bad hair he had back then - yrf)

Re: Champions League on TV

Hi there:
For the moment we don't have T.V so we watch some matches here:
http://rojadirecta.com
Also very useful for tennis and basket !
This site may be totally illegal, but these pirates cheer me up very often.
By the way, like a good Spanish girl I'm a big Real Madrid fan.

Cheers,

Don't josh! DFH hands out groans a'plenty just because he's a supporter, from, er, Ireland.

They obviously can't take ribbing, be careful...

Re: Champions League on TV

I can take the ribbing, but most of it is unoriginal and unamusing hence the groans.

Going from Lausanne. I also have Lyon tickets. You'll be lucky to get in to the United end. Tickets are scarce.
