Question on Yallo

Dear forum,

is anyone using Yallo Flat @ 39 CHF/month? It includes all calls to CH+EU (incl. mobiles) and 1GB Internet.

I have a specific question about the product, which Yallo themselves keep answering differently each time I ask, so would love to have this tested by someone

Q1: If calls are diverted to another Swiss mobile#, is this included in the flatrate? (Yes/No)

Q2: If calls are diverted to another European mobile#, is this included in the flatrate? (Yes/No)

Thanks for any possible input,
Christian

Re: Question on Yallo

I wondered the same thing. There is nothing in their terms and conditions about it.
I guess you can't do it. Usually the terms disallow these kind of things.

Re: Question on Yallo

Their T&C say this:

German:
Unlimitiert gilt im Rahmen von normalen Telefongesprächen. Dauerverbindungen oder Weiterleitungen auf Kurz- und Mehrwertdienstnummern sind ausgeschlossen.

English:
Unlimited applies in the context of normal telephone calls. Permanent connections or redirects on short- and premium rate numbers are excluded.

It´s ambiguous in both German and English.

Re: Question on Yallo

Hi there!

I just arrived to Switzerland and I'm considering buying a Yallo SIM card. I saw that if I get a friend recommendation, we get extra 10 CHF each. Can anyone using Yallo send me a recommendation?

Thanks a lot!

This opens a world of opportunities!
  1. Get a German AldiTalk prepaid SIM
    • With AldiTalk, incoming calls throughout EU/EEA + Switzerland are free.
  2. When outside of Switzerland, divert your Yallo# to your German AldiTalk number.
  3. Enjoy free incoming calls throughout the whole EU/EEA with only one SIM!

Other stuff:
  1. If you like Orange´s coverage, just "divert when not available" and use the German SIM in parallel: In Switzerland AldiTalk roams on the Orange network.
  2. Same strategy, using www.togglemobile.co.uk will open up free incoming calls in some random countries like the US-of-A, Australia and others.

Sorry, maybe I was wrong. Are you talking about call forwarding?

I don´t need it anymore, I use AldiMobile (Swiss) for the same reason right now (together with a Swiss Toggle#). But it´d still be interesting to know
