just for the vague chance that this is an obvious usage issue;
During my outgoing calls I hear an annoying beeping sound- as if the phone is still in the process of connecting the call (i.e. it "rings" for the entire length of the call).
This sound disrupts the discussion and makes the conversation next to impossible. When other people call me the problem is not occuring.
My only theory is that I'm on an old pricing plan which is cheaper than any of the new alternatives, so they might be trying to hint me that they're a bit dissapointed.
Any ideas? (I couldn't find any relevant items on their FAQ and I didn't open a support ticket yet)

You need to be a little more specific on the device you use and the plan you use, but here goes a swing in the dark:
- beep every minute or so: you have enabled call counter, which alerts you on the increasing duration of the call (and fees)
- three short beeps in the beginning of the call: you have enabled function alerting you to outgoing, as in out-of-swisscom-network calls. This is used when you call a 079* number which has been ported to a different carrier and you are alerted to the fact this is no longer swisscom estate.
- beep resembling ongoing ring signal: attempt to power off phone, take out sim card; if device allows it remove battery, too. If battery is removable, press and hold power button without battery to eliminate any residual charge. If battery is enclosed, wait for a few minutes with SIM out. Insert SIM, insert battery, power on. SIM should initialize a fresh connection, ditto for your device.
If all above fails: go to the nearest swisscom shop and ask if they are spying on you. Tell them a free iPhone6/Xperia Z3/insert-random-device will calm your worries. Report back.
