Compensation for internet down

Hello everyone,

Cablecom has been down in my building for a few days now, do you know if I can claim any kind of compensation for this lack of service?

I think, at the very least, I should not pay these days in which I did not get the service. But I know with network companies that would be a long shot, not even thinking about getting compensated for the loss of work I have done this week.

I got three days refund because they messed up moving our connection when we moved house; I asked for it when I called the second time for them to fix it, on the basis that one call and an apology was OK, failing to meet the promised fix time was not.

It depends if it's actually their fault - if the power to the building distribution hub is out for example, we had this previously when a power cut tripped the switch and the building manager didn't put it back on until Cablecom had been out

They explicitely exclude consequential losses in the T&C.

In the end the service disruption was too short for a compensation, but thank you for your reply, I will take it into account for the next time
