Das Update bringe eine neue Version des Horizon Recorders, die für 500 Mbit/s ausgerichtet sei.
From what I read, it sounds like a new modem/box is required for the 500Mbps service, and they bundle everything into it (internet, phone, TV), I guess it's 100% fiber?

With the current/older technology, they have a modem for internet and no modem for the TV (just plug the cable into your TV), so since it's 2 separate connections, it's easier to separate sell TV and internet independent of each other.
