Swisscom Abo Internet Connection Cutoffs?

Since we changed our abonnement to a faster Internet Connection(VivoM) we get random disconnect. Mainly my sister and me are playing on PC. The disconnects do not happen at the same time.
We are playing the game..then suddenly one of us gets a disconnect from the game. then 10s later Temaspeak disconnects.
I noticed, while people in TS cannot hear me anymore, I am still able to hear them for another 5 seconds before i also get disconnected from the teamspeak.
Maybe it cannot send packages out anymore but somehow I am still able to recieve them, anyone with a similar issue?

I had the same problem for several weeks, but with a regular connection (no Vivo package). As this hadn't happened before or only occasionally, I thought it must be my laptop.

If you are using a laptop and WLAN, you can try the following:

It worked for me. Since I unchecked "Computer kann das Gerät ausschalten, um Energie zu sparen" my WLAN connection hasn't been cut off anymore.

If you keep getting cut off, I'd call Swisscom and ask whether they can check your connection.

I thought the same that it could be wireless, but then i tested it with a Lancable and I still had those cutoffs.

Same as you before without the Vivo Abo we had NO such issues, as soon as we swapped to the ViVo M Abo those cutoffs started..

It is very annoying and Swisscom seems also not be able to help, they said their connection to the router is stable...

Well, then I guess it's not connected to the Abo one has.


As we both live in the canton of Aargau, they might have problems in certain areas.


Mine are not back yet, luckily. But it was quite annoying before, for a couple of weeks. I had to reconnect all the time. Even checked whether I forgot to pay my Swisscom bill

In the app " my Swisscom assistant " you can check your connection. Open the app and click on quick check

Thanks, omtatsat. So far, I've only been using the My Swisscom app (on my mobile phone). It's not very up-to-date though. Right now it says they are experiencing technical issues where I live, but my connection works perfectly at the moment...

Is the online version more reliable?

well I would try it. You can also use it to optimise your WLAN connection

which router are you using. The latest " internet box" or Centro Grande?

Okay, then I will give it a try next time. Thanks, again.

I'm quite happy with my WLAN now that it's working again. There really seemed to be an interference with my energy saving settings.
