UPC Cablecom and Swisscom coexistence

Hi,

Have a difficult question which I hope someone here can help me resolve.

I currently have UPC Cablecom Horizon plus....250 Mbps internet, 180+ channels, Teleclub sports, and phone. I really enjoy the high speed internet and I do really need it for leisure and work.

I do also enjoy watching sports, and the 180+ channels do not provide all the sports I want to see, so I contracted Teleclub Sports, to the disappointment that it only offers 3 channels while Swisscom offers 24+ channels.

So, I decided to change to Swisscom, however the maximum Internet speed I can get is 18 Mbps!!! I do not want to lose the Internet speed which I need, so the question is:
Can I still have UPC's Internet service (200 Mbps) and on top of that Swisscom TV service (I know I need at least the 2 Mbps connection, no worries about this)?
How would the connect?
Do they require the same wall connection or can I have alternate connections?
My apartment has two TV sockets, are these shared?

Thanks for your help!

regards,
San

Re: UPC Cablecom and Swisscom coexistence

Swisscom uses phone socket (for TV, Phone, Internet). Cablecom uses cable/TV socket. No overlap.

As an aside, if you switched completely to Swisscom, you could ask the Cable socket to be sealed off and that saves the monthly cable network rental (i think about 25fr. a month).

If you sign up for Swisscom S at Interdiscount you get one year of Teleclub Sport for free.
