Katamari Damacy for the iPhone! The only game i have on my phone (which includes over a page of other games) that I would actually want to play other then to just kill time.
Cult Japanese game originally on PS2.

For tenis fans, the Winbledon Application is quite nice, to check live the results and discuss with friends about the next plays.

| | | Re: iPhone application recommendations Navigon Mobile Navigator.
it turns your iPhone 3G or 3Gs to fully functional navigation device.
It costs 105 CHF for full Europe or 65 CHF for Region Germany , Switzerland and Austria.
I tried over the weekend for my trip to France/Nancy and it was great.
It even made me buy a car holder for my iphone.
Easy to use.

| | | Re: iPhone application recommendations | Quote: | | | | | I hate to quote myself, but anyone who regularly uses public transport in zurich should definitely check out tramdroid... its seriously cool.
For me, it is one of the most fluent and well designed apps of the iphone... and it is specifically for zurich public transport!!!
Brilliant. | | | | | Tramdroid is now known as Wemlin. I can also recommend this app for Zurich public transit - it is fantastic. Also, seems to be able to use some signal from the tram stops or trains instead of wifi - 'locate me' always works even without 3g or wifi.

two more free ones I enjoy: Skype: I find the sound quality better than fring, but lack of landscape typing is a minus Radio Paradise: Stream from www.radioparadise.com - listener supported radio that is generally an excellent mix.

I love my iPhone. It's such a beautifully intuitive interface, the only thing that is missing is an even better camera, the new 3MP one is ok but still not a patch on any of Sony's phones.
I've got loads of apps - flight control, koi pond, face melter. I almost think it is an addiction though as I buy about 5 apps a month at least. Someone please help me stop...!

Not an application but a video with some suggestions on how to type faster on the iPhone (with OS 3.0). You might get an idea or two. http://www.howcast.com/videos/196070...on-Your-iPhone |

Anyone care to recommend a calendar app that syncs with mobileme/ical and provides a week view? I can't believe the update to 3.0 didn't include a calendar week view - sheesh.

It'll run over the wifi if you have it turned on, on your phone. | Quote: | | | | | Anyone care to recommend a calendar app that syncs with mobileme/ical and provides a week view? This is just IMHO but on Apples previous behavior then it would seem like they wouldn't allow another calender app on the phone.

Just tried the new SBB/CFF application, the big news is that you can now purchase tickets from the application directly. I gave it a try this morning and was pleased to see how quickly I got my ticket.

Forget MobileMe the cheapest way to keep your home, work and iphone calendars (& contacts) in sync is by using Google Calendar and a program called GsyncIt*.
I've installed GsyncIt on my work and home PC, and both of these sync my Outlook to an online Google Calendar account. My iPhone also syncs to my Google Calendar account using (on an hourly basis) the new CalDav protocol released with the iPhone 3.0 OS.
Its pretty straightforward to set up, but requires a bit of thought to avoid calendar entries being duplicated/erased. I guess Mobileme is easier to set up, but at $99 a year its a real rip off.
* Google have a freeware program called Google Calendar Sync, but it is extrememly buggy and will fail to sync a great number of calendar entries (e.g. meetings not arranged by you) hence why GsyncIt is the best choice for the job.

gSyncit looks good for Google calendars and Outlook.
But as it turns out, I don't use Outlook calendars. On my Mac.

;-) | | | | | The cloud component is Google Calendar, you just need an app that will sync your Mac with Google Calendar and its Happy Days
This program might be what you're looking for, and its a lot cheaper than MobileMe

Anyone know of an iPhone app that monitors tethering data traffic live (without having to keep going into Settings->General->Usage over and over)?
This was a really nice thing about PDAnet - live numbers for upload and download data volume...
