| 1) Buy a multisystem TV in the U.S. and take it with me in the move, multisystem TV are a little bit more expensive than regular ones, but I still think it is cheaper than buying one in Zurich, this way I know the wii will work fine, and I can bring back the TV once the assignment is over. | |

With the weakness of the USD and strength of the CHF, this may not be the chepest option. You will still have the issues of
a) will the TV work from 230V?
b) does it cover the S-band cable channels?
c) does it support the dual language system used here?

| 2) Take my existing TV (no PAL) and buy a video and voltage converter. | |

Voltage coverter = transformer, will cost something, how much depends on power demand of TV. Could be a couple of hundred francs.
Video vonverter PAL to NTSC? Forget it. You'll be forced to use AV-IN, and most of the settop boxes here are PAL output and I don't think they do NTSC.

| 3) Buy a TV in Zurich, but I am not sure if the wii will work or not. | |

This is you best choice.
