it looks like free is not free. An interesting solution if it works though....dial through the computer and both phones ring. Simple.

I have had a few friends call me from Canada with this service... as far as I know, there isn't a catch... yet. I think it's like Skype - they offered free long distance calling (in North America anyway) for a while, and then as of Jan 1st '07, started charging.

there is no catch... there's at least half a dozen services now offering to let you call within Western Europe and North America for free (or almost free ... at 0.01 or 0.02 chf per minute, who cares?)
